Do you ever get dressed in the morning and ask yourself "does this go"?? Unfortunately the mirror doesn't reply back {at least it hasn't for me yet....}
I had that moment twice this week so I thought I would shoot for some reader interaction and bug ask what your opinions and which one you would choose.
Here's the first one: Which boots?
Errands
Black Tank and Grey Cardi - Gap
Black Leggings: TJ Maxx
Brown Boots: Bamboo {via charming charlies}
Black Boots: Old Navy
Belt: Old Navy
So which boots do you guys think work better, the brown or black ones?
Next: Which skirt/belt?
Work
Navy Blazer: Banana
Plaid Shirt: Gap Kids
Grey Tights & Booties: Old Navy
Both Skirts: American Eagle {both are like, 13 years old!}
Striped Belt: no clue ;)
Red Belt: Target
Thoughts on the skirt choice?
Here's what I chose:
and
Except now that I see pictures of them I think I would have chosen the other options both times. Damn.
I also tried to branch out and added a blue skirt this week...
Work
Black Sweater: Loft
Blue Skirt: Urban Outfitters
Black Boots: Old Navy
{good gawd I hate that picture!!!}
I also loaded on the bracelets. I'm loving this look!
Confession: the bead bracelet is actually a necklace wrapped around twice and secured with a safety pin. It blended right in :)

One last thing....
My amazing seister got me an ah-maz-ing birthday/Christmas gift - an iphone 4s!!!!

SO one of the first things I did was search for some good fashion aps and I stumbled on
Fashism. It's a fashion ap {duh, really? haha} that allows you to post pictures of your outfits and get feedback from their users. Here's a great explanation of the ap by Lauren Indvik from
Mashable:
The app is designed to help users solicit and give real-time feedback to Fashism’s fashion-conscious community on the go. Many users often snap photos of themselves before heading out to school or work, or while trying on clothes in a dressing room, and upload them to Fashism with their iPhones. Users can browse all looks by recency, as well as follow (and be followed by) specific users.
I used it for the first time today and LOVE it. It's not only good to illicit outfit feedback but it's a great time waster as well! My only complaint is that you can't pin to pinterest yet, but I'm sure it's in the works.
And now it's your turn! Which boots/skirt would you guys pick and will you jump on the fashism train?
