WIWW - {Anchored}

Another week has gone by! As usual I'm posting and running...transitioning between jobs this week. It's a lot of work to sort and pack up 9 years of stuff from your office!!

If you couldn't tell from my blog header - I'm a Delta Gamma and in true DG spirit I am (and have been for years) obsessed with anchors. I know they are 'trendy' right now but we go way back. 

I'm not only connected through DG but they represent being anchored in my life - anchored to my family, my spirit and my husband. To me they represent being grounded and I've needed that reminder this week. Moving on from your first job is harder than it sounds - even when it means bigger and better things for you. So this week my risk was layering my new anchor socks - currently on sale in the men's department at target :) 

This dress is from Gap Kids. I would have never believed I'd fit in any kids clothing. Losing 60 pounds continues to have it's advantages! More to choose from and typically cheaper.

Another risk this week - the bow is actually a ribbon belt. Why not?

I start the new j-o-b on Monday! I'm blessed to get to be working with a great friend who loves fashion as much as I do. That could be very bad for both our bank accounts.... :)
